DoodleDaisiesandInk All Heart Blog Hop

I’m double excited to take part in DoodleDaisiesandInk All Heart Release Blog Hop from January 6th-12th.
Not only do I get to share an image with you today but I get to do so in my first blog post ever 😱.
Eny Dunn, creator of DoodleDaisiesandInk (DDI), comes up with the most adorable images that every crafter should keep in their stash. Head over to the shop at doodledaisiesandink.com and see so yourself. Seasonal stamps are versatile and could be transformed to fit any occasion. You could play around with sizing and mix and match sentiments.

Today’s card features her “Girl with Heart”

I love that Eny has included sentiments in Spanish. I feel emotions are felt on a more deeper and intimate level when expressed in Spanish. It truly is a language of love ❤️.

Valentine’s Day is my most favorite of all holidays. Aside from all the friendship and love in the air, I’m over the moon with all the reds, pinks and white the comes with it. So, of course, I took advantage and used the brightest reds and pinks I had.

For my card, I used copics, calligraphy markers and Crayola’s Colored Pencils (you can use any and every thing!), to color and shade in this girl in love offering her big heart. Using the largest die in my stash, I die-cut a heart to place behind my digistamp along with a background filled with words one would say to their sweetheart. With a Wink of Stella Brush Pen, I covered the pink part with as much shine as I could. After adhering the background and heart, I decided to prop this girl up with foam tape along with the sentiment “ Te entrego mi corazón” (I give you my heart). I finished it off with gems and enamel dots for some added sparkle.

Don’t forget to visit and comment on the other designers blogs participating in the DDI Blog Hop and get a chance to win the entire All Heart Release. Winner will be announced the 17th and the deadline to enter is the 12th.

I hope you enjoyed my take on today’s image and can’t wait to see what you come up with.

xoxo,
Magaly
